Job Description

As part of the Salesforce COE team, candidate will be responsible to support various Salesforce activities which includes enhancing, maintaining and supporting various Salesforce Instances used by Bureau Veritas business units across globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate functional requirements into technical requirements.
  • Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices.
  • Ensure the best possible quality of the application.
  • Support the Salesforce COE Support & Development team to implement a tailored and scalable Salesforce solution.
  • Take ownership of project work and developing client relationships (Should be a confident self-starter).
  • Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions.
  • Serve as mentor to less-experienced team members.
  • Test bug fixes to make sure they work as per requirements, then deploy them to production.

  • Both process and technically oriented, understanding business implications of technical choices.
  • Development and implementation of programming interfaces and custom integrations from a variety of different app-exchange modules within the Salesforce.com.
  • Produce Requirements and associated Design Documents for assigned application features/enhancements, as well as necessary production support materials.

Skills:

  • Salesforce Functional & Technical knowledge with over 7 + Years of relevant experience in Salesforce.
  • Experience in implementing and running data governance initiatives is necessary.
  • Apex code development.
  • Should have worked with an editor such as Visual Source Code , MavensMate or Eclipse for force.com
  • Salesforce certifications ADM 201 (required), Salesforce PD 1 (required) , Salesforce PD 2 (desired) ,Sales & Service Cloud Consultant (desired). • Experience in Salesforce administration, Data Migration, Integration (Supporting / debugging existing) Integration. • Excellent Communication (Written & Verbal) Skills. • Experience in mentoring the Development team and provide solution to business problems / Platform limitations. • Ability to communicate with customers and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions. • Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements. • Should have good working knowledge of CI/CD/SFDX. • Exposure to Big Objects / LDV is big plus. • Worked on Salesforce Lightning for 3 – 4 projects and good understanding on design principles. • Experience with the development and integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems (Both on Premise and Cloud based systems). • Good working knowledge of design patterns and should guide team to implement best practices. • Deep understanding of Visualforce, SFDC APEX, Lightning Components, Package Development, SQL/SOQL, XML, HTML, Eclipse, Java, Javascript, SOAP and REST techniques. • Worked on Salesforce Lightning for 3 – 4 projects and good understanding on design principles. • Experience with the development and integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems (Both on Premise and Cloud based systems). • Programming Languages – APEX, Visual Force, Familiarity with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE. • Good working knowledge of design patterns and should guide team to implement best practices. • Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies. • Deep understanding of Visualforce, SFDC APEX, Lightning Components, Package Development, SQL/SOQL, XML, HTML, Eclipse, Java, Javascript, SOAP and REST techniques. • Working Knowledge of FSL (Field Service Lightning), CPQ, Marketing Cloud is big plus. • Understanding of CSS, XLS, repositories (SVN/CVS). • Very strong work ethic with a customer service focus (high intensity).
