Company Secretary

Description

We are seeking a qualified Company Secretary with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, managing corporate governance, and providing support to the board of directors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage and maintain the company's statutory registers and records.
• Prepare and file various forms and documents with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
• Assist in conducting board meetings, annual general meetings, and preparing minutes of meetings.
• Advise the board on corporate governance matters and best practices.
• Coordinate with external regulators and advisors, including auditors and legal counsel.
• Handle share transfer and transmission, and maintain the register of members.

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI.
• Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013 and corporate laws in India.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in legal documentation and corporate compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
