Overview About the Role The Senior Development Engineer is responsible for development tasks such as requirement analysis, designing, coding and debugging, release & deployment by utilizing standard concepts and principles. Designs high-level and low-level architecture for functional requirements, turning them into marketable features or use cases. Develops software for database functionality, GUI-based applications, or web-based supporting tools. Demonstrates strong command of the primary products technology. Adheres to best coding practices and software control systems. Exhibits expertise in one or more modules of the product. Maintains a solid understanding of core modules of secondary products. Nice to have experience in android app development. Familiarity with unit testing to control the quality. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
