Chef de Partie

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our café team specializing in Continental and Italian cuisine . The ideal candidate will manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent food quality, timely preparation, and hygiene standards. You will be key in maintaining the café’s reputation for delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook dishes from our Continental and Italian menu , including pasta, risottos, pizzas, grilled items, salads, and starters. Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all dishes. Oversee the mise en place and readiness of your station before each service. Support and guide junior kitchen staff in your section. Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to plan daily operations and implement new dishes. Maintain a clean and organized workstation in line with FSSAI and hygiene standards . Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients, minimizing waste. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory and ordering as needed. Uphold café’s standards in food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and allergen awareness. Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as CDP or strong experience as a Demi Chef/Commis Chef in a similar cuisine. Expertise in Continental and Italian cooking techniques (e.g., pasta making, pizza dough, grilling, sauce preparation). Culinary degree/diploma preferred but not mandatory if supported by strong experience. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of food hygiene standards and kitchen safety protocols. Work Conditions: Full-time role; shifts may include weekends and holidays. Standing for extended periods; fast-paced kitchen operations. Team-oriented café environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
