About the Opportunity

Join the culinary brigade of an internationally acclaimed Celebrity Chef as part of the launch team for a high-profile flagship restaurant. Rooted in authenticity and elevated with innovation, this concept celebrates regional Indian cuisine with a global perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a designated section in the Indian kitchen (tandoor, curry, or regional specialty).
  • Ensure consistent high-quality preparation and presentation of all dishes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to execute a menu that blends tradition with innovation.
  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, mise en place, and kitchen organization.
  • Mentor and guide Commis chefs and junior staff in your section.
  • Maintain inventory and assist in sourcing authentic Indian ingredients.
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fine-dining, high-volume environment.
  • Contribute creative input for menu evolution, seasonal updates, and plating refinement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in a high-end or luxury Indian kitchen; international exposure is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of regional Indian cuisines (North, South, Coastal, or Fusion).
  • Expertise in tandoor, curries, or Indian fine-dining plating styles.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
  • Passion for excellence and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Formal culinary education preferred but not mandatory if offset by exceptional experience.
  • Availability for extended hours during launch period and special events.
