Key Responsibilities:


Automotive

  • Develop comprehensive strategies for automotive and motorcycle product categories
  • Analyze automotive market trends, vehicle ownership patterns, and enthusiast behavior
  • Create product assortments across OEM parts, aftermarket accessories, and motorcycle gear
  • Plan category strategies for different vehicle segments and motorcycle types

Technical

  • Oversee automotive parts compatibility and fitment accuracy
  • Manage relationships with OEM suppliers and aftermarket manufacturers
  • Ensure technical specifications and vehicle compatibility information
  • Coordinate with technical teams on product fitment and installation guides

Automotive

  • Build relationships with automotive OEMs, aftermarket brands, and motorcycle manufacturers
  • Negotiate with automotive parts suppliers and motorcycle gear manufacturers
  • Onboard performance brands, custom parts manufacturers, and specialty automotive suppliers
  • Manage automotive private label development and sourcing strategies

Performance

  • Monitor automotive parts quality standards and safety certifications
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations and standards
  • Manage product warranties and automotive-specific return policies
  • Coordinate with quality teams on automotive parts testing and validation

Market

  • Develop strategies for different automotive segments (economy, luxury, performance, commercial)
  • Plan motorcycle category strategies across different bike types and riding styles
  • Analyze automotive enthusiast communities and motorsport trends
  • Create targeted approaches for DIY mechanics vs. professional installers

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or e-commerce (preferably in the automotive sector).
  • Deep understanding of the automobile and motorcycle industry, including parts, accessories, and brand landscapes.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and BI tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
