Captain (QSR) (BreakShift)

Job Summary: The Captain is responsible for supervising the dining area, ensuring guests receive excellent service, and coordinating with team members to deliver a smooth and efficient dining experience. This role involves taking orders, overseeing service, and handling guest concerns promptly and professionally. Key Responsibilities: Greet and seat guests courteously, ensuring comfort and satisfaction. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen. Supervise and coordinate the activities of service staff (waiters, runners, bussers). Ensure timely and high-quality service is provided to guests. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to maximize sales. Handle guest complaints and feedback efficiently, escalating when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Conduct pre-service briefings and assign duties to the service team. Ensure tables are properly set and cleared according to standards. Maintain inventory of service equipment and assist in stock requisitions. Requirements: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food service or hospitality (QSR or casual dining preferred). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and team coordination abilities. Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
