Steward (QSR) ( Breakshift)

Job Summary: The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dishwashing areas of the restaurant. The role supports kitchen operations by ensuring that all utensils, crockery, equipment, and kitchen tools are clean and stored properly. Key Responsibilities: Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans manually or using industrial dishwashers. Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and work surfaces. Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, ceilings, and garbage areas. Dispose of kitchen waste properly and follow the waste segregation policy. Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and food items. Refill soap, sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers as needed. Comply with food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Support the kitchen team with basic prep work when required. Follow all safety guidelines while handling cleaning equipment and chemicals. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory. Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards. Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
