Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy and configure
Silver Peak SD-WAN routers (EdgeConnect appliances)
, Cisco Switches, and Wireless Access Points.
Utilize strong hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting networking protocols including
BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, PVST+, IPsec site-to-site VPN, VoIP, HSRP, GLBP, and NAT/PAT
.
Set up and troubleshoot
VPN tunnels
to ensure secure connectivity.
Coordinate effectively with vendors for both existing support and new implementations.
Efficiently handle
Service Restoration, Service Requests, and Change Requests
according to defined processes.
Perform commissioning and de-commissioning of network components as required.
Adhere strictly to
Change Control submission and approval processes
for all network modifications.
Plan, schedule, and implement network device software/hardware upgrades and migrations in a timely manner, minimizing impact on users.
Apply a high degree of analytical ability and creativity to resolve complex network problems.
Create and update network drawings using
Microsoft Visio
.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
Demonstrate willingness and availability to work during evening and weekend hours for scheduled network infrastructure changes.
