Business Development Manager

Chattels Retail is a leader in the real estate and commercial leasing space (Retail and office) and property solutions. With a growing presence and a dynamic team, we are looking to expand our reach and strengthen our relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
• Identify client requirements and deliver tailored property solutions
• Generate new business leads and expand the client base
• Provide prompt and efficient customer service to ensure client satisfaction
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Visit clients (Retail brands and corporates) and engage with them on leasing opportunities
• Represent Chattels at industry events and networking opportunities
• Keep track of market trends and competitor activities in commercial leasing
  

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing or business development role
• Experience in commercial leasing is highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Daily travel within and around Chennai (25-50 km/day)
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and client-handling abilities
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Background in sales or marketing is a plus
• Must be well-organized with excellent time management skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
• Candidates from Chennai or nearby areas preferred
