Business Development Head- Data Center (SCADA & PLC) We are hiring a seasoned and result-oriented Business Development Head to lead our strategic initiatives in the Data Center segment. The ideal candidate should possess strong business acumen, a deep understanding of electrical infrastructure and automation (SCADA & PLC) , and experience working with consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and end-users. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and is passionate about shaping India's data center ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Market Expansion Identify, develop, and manage business opportunities across India within the Data Center vertical. Establish long-term strategic relationships with consultants, EPCs, OEMs, and enterprise clients. Stay updated with market trends, government regulations, and emerging projects. Monitor competitor activities and identify areas for differentiation and value creation. Lead lead-generation efforts and successfully convert opportunities into business wins. Sales & Client Relationship Management Define and implement high-impact sales strategies aligned with revenue goals. Present techno-commercial proposals, conduct negotiations, and drive deal closures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, execution, marketing) for seamless delivery. Ensure consistent post-sales support to maximize customer satisfaction. Technical Expertise & Product Positioning Promote advanced electrical infrastructure solutions including MV/LV switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, SCADA, and PLC-based automation. Work with product and R&D teams to align offerings with market demands. Conduct client trainings, webinars, and solution demos. Ensure full compliance with industry codes, safety regulations, and data center standards. Reporting & CRM Management Maintain and manage accurate sales pipeline and activities using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce). Report periodically on business performance, forecasts, and market insights. Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies and value propositions. Candidate Profile: Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or a related field. Experience: Minimum 15 years in business development, sales, or key account management in the data center, electrical infrastructure, or power distribution domain. Core Competencies: Deep knowledge of data center systems and electrical distribution technologies. Strong networking and negotiation skills with experience handling high-value deals. Strong communication and presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and lead teams. Willingness to travel across India, as per business requirements.
