Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor/ Masters degree in Business Administration
• 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with significant exposure to the lending/financial services domain.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation (BRD, FRS, User Stories, and Use Cases).
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end lending lifecycle (origination, underwriting, servicing, collections).
• Knowledge of specific Loan Origination Systems (LOS) or Loan Servicing Systems.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively engage with business stakeholders (e.g., loan officers, underwriters, credit risk, operations, collections) to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for new or enhanced lending products, processes, and systems.
• Analyze existing end-to-end lending processes (e.g., loan origination, underwriting, disbursement, servicing, collections, risk assessment)
• Conduct in-depth interviews, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to uncover true business needs and pain points.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional specifications, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Epics, User Stories, and Use Cases.
• Prioritize requirements based on business value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
• Work closely with technical teams (developers, architects, QA) to ensure a shared understanding of business requirements and to facilitate the design of robust and scalable solutions.
• To be liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and managing expectations.
• Participate in solution design discussions, providing domain expertise and ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives.
