B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Blueprint-to-Program Translation
• Review engineering drawings and CAD/CAM models (e.g., SolidWorks, MasterCAM).
• Generate and optimize CNC programs (G-code), determine feeds, speeds, fixtures
• Machine Setup & Operation
• Calibrate tooling on CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines.
• Perform test runs, monitor production, and adjust parameters to meet tolerances
• Quality Inspection & Maintenance
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs to verify parts.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues
• Process Engineering & Optimization
• Design and implement fixtures, jigs, and setup sheets for efficient operations.
• Analyze root causes for variances and implement corrective actions
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with mechanical design teams, machine operators, and quality engineers.
• Provide feedback on manufacturability and help scale prototype processes
• Tools & Tech Stack
• Software: Master CAM, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360
• Machines: CNC lathes, mills, mill-turns, multi-axis centers
• Inspection Tools: CMM, calipers, micrometers, gauges
• Processes: GD&T, fixture design, shop-calibrations, 5S/GMP practices

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
