Incorporated in 2008, SMHFPL focuses on catering to the housing finance needs of self-employed, low, and middle-income families in semi-urban and rural areas of India. Our mission is to help under-served segments of society achieve their dream of homeownership.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Branch Credit Manager located in Sitapur. The Branch Credit Manager will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, managing credit risks, performing detailed financial analyses, and ensuring proper credit management within the branch. Daily tasks include evaluating loan applications, monitoring existing loans, and coordinating with other departments to minimize credit risks and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

Skills in Credit Management, Credit Risk Management, and Finance
Strong Analytical Skills
Experience in evaluating and managing credit
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
Experience in the housing finance sector is preferred
