Job Description

Job Summary:

The Bodyshop Service Advisor acts as the liaison between customers and the bodyshop team. They are responsible for greeting customers, assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, coordinating repair schedules, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the repair process. The role requires strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Qualification: Plus Two or Above

Experience: Minimum 5-10 Years Experience in same field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Inspect damaged vehicles and document condition accurately.
  • Create detailed repair estimates using estimating software (e.g., Audatex, Mitchell, CCC One).
  • Communicate repair plans, timelines, and costs to customers.
  • Coordinate repair schedules between customers, insurance companies, and technicians.
  • Obtain necessary approvals from insurance adjusters or third parties.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the repair process with regular updates.
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and arrange vehicle pick-up or delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate if needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair orders, estimates, and parts.
  • Promote additional services or repairs if needed.
  • Assist in managing loaner/rental vehicles if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional technical or automotive training is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a service advisor, preferably in a bodyshop or collision repair environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and insurance procedures.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
