Job Title: Hadoop Big Data Engineer

Experience: 6–8 Years

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Hadoop Big Data Engineer with 6+ years of experience in the Hadoop ecosystem, with strong hands-on expertise in Spark with Scala, Hive, HDFS, Oozie, and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong debugging and performance tuning capabilities, and be comfortable working in a hybrid setup from our Whitefield, Bangalore location.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark using Scala, Hive, and HDFS
• Proficiency in Oozie workflows, Scala Test, and Spark performance tuning
• Deep understanding of Spark UI, YARN logs, and debugging distributed jobs
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Maven, and Nexus
• Ability to write unit tests, and follow best practices for scalable data pipelines

Primary Skills

• Apache Spark (with Scala)
• Scala language expertise

• HDFS and Hadoop Ecosystem
• Oozie workflow orchestration

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of experience working on Big Data platforms
• Hands-on performance optimization and memory tuning for Spark jobs
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience working with enterprise-level distributed data systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per year
