Job Description

Role Objective

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic OEM Bid Manager to lead and coordinate bid responses for Government & Enterprise opportunities. This role involves end-to-end management of the bid process including evaluating RFPs in all aspects such as PQ, contractual obligations etc., preparing contractual documentations, maintain project trackers, OEM documentations, certifications etc., collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Presales/technical for technical deliverables, pre & post sales follow-ups, if any and ensuring timely submission of responses for customer requirements.


Key Deliverables

  • Own and manage the full lifecycle of the bids from opportunity identification to submission and post-bid reviews.
  • Analyse and interpret tender documents (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) and define win strategies in collaboration with sales, technical, legal, and finance teams.
  • Lead internal kick-off meetings and ensure timely submission of responses.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical and commercial inputs, certifications, compliance documents, etc.
  • Develop and write compelling contractual documents that align with customer requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OEM offerings, market trends, pricing, and competition.
  • Track bid progress & project timelines such as due date, pre-bid date or any other important milestone using MS excel software.
  • Ensure documentation is compliant, accurate, and professionally presented/submitted.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Presales/technical for technical deliverables • Conduct post-bid analysis to identify areas for improvement and increase future win rates.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or sales supportpreferably in an OEM environment (e.g., IT hardware, telecom, energy, software or manufacturing).
  • Strong understanding of OEM sales models, pricing structures, and procurement cycles.
  • Excellent communication, discussion, intrapersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Office, MS Project, Zoho, or other CRM systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with Indian government/public sector tenders (GeM, eProcurement portals), Enterprises
  • Prior work with Tier 1/2 OEMs
