POSITION OVERVIEW Position is for the 3D modeling Lead in Battery Energy Storage BESS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create detailed 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks (Must) & AutoCAD. Prepare part, manufacturing and assembly drawings compliant with ISO/ANSI and company standards. Import/export and validate electromechanical components within system models. Develop fabrication-ready drawings adhering to internal design guidelines. Generate and manage detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs). Support concept development with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Apply DFMEA/FMEA practices to enhance design robustness. Ensure proper material selection based on IS metal grades and performance needs. Design with understanding of sheet metal design, fabrication methods, coating, and surface finish. Integrate mechanical systems into standard shipping containers, understanding container structure and constraints. EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS B.E. Mechanical Engineering REQUIRED SKILLS Proficient in SolidWorks with strong knowledge of CAD best practices. Excellent command of mechanical standards, GD&T, Drawing & Documentation Understanding of electromechanical integration in BESS or related systems Battery Design, BESS Design, HVAC, Chiller calculations. Detailed engineering of EHV GIS/AIS Substations, Equipment layout preparations, earthing system design, DSLP system design, lighting system design, Battery Design, LT distribution system for substations etc. Preparation of BOQ for procurement of materials. Understanding the requirements of firefighting & fire alarm systems of the substations, reviewing and finalization of technical documents of the system. Preparation power and control cable schedule. Technical evaluation of all the substation equipment and coordination with procurement team for placement of Purchase orders. Coordination with vendors for vendor drawing submission and review of vendor drawings Coordination with clients for drawing approvals. Coordinating the material inspections with clients and vendors. Coordination with execution team at project site for the engineering clarifications and filed changes. Technical support to tendering team, preparation of overall equipment layouts, Lot item BOQ and evaluation of tender stage offers. Studying and understanding of technical specifications and scope of the projects and raising the technical clarifications. Clear Understanding of Indian and international standards. Skill Required: Autocad Lighting Software - Dialux MS Office

Role Responsibilities Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field Experience: minimum 4 years in Li-ion battery system design, with a focus on thermal management. Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks, Catia latest versions for battery design. Battery Technology: In-depth knowledge of Li-ion batteries, chemistry, and safety and their detailed characteristics. Thermal Management: Strong understanding of thermal control in battery systems. Component Selection: Ability to select appropriate components and materials. Safety Compliance: Familiarity with battery safety and regulatory standards. Process monitoring activities from design stage to final product. Required Experience on EV 2W, L3 and L5 segments battery design knowledge. Very good knowledge and experience handling the regulatory requirements for batteries like AIS 156 Basic knowledge on any one major CAD and SolidWorks, Catia. Creating of Engineering BOM and perform DFMEA of components & systems. Experience in Tooling concepts of battery components.
