Bakery Chef

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bakery Chef to oversee the preparation of high-quality baked goods, including breads, breakfast items, and dough-based products. The ideal candidate will ensure consistency, freshness, and adherence to food safety standards while contributing to an efficient kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of baked items such as breads, rolls, pancakes, waffles, muffins, and flatbreads
• Ensure all products meet quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Manage daily baking schedules to align with service requirements
• Monitor stock levels of baking ingredients and assist with ordering
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on ingredient consumption and production
• Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu items and breakfast offerings

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dough preparation
• Ability to work early mornings and maintain punctuality
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
• Attention to detail, consistency, and time management skills
• Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
