Backend Lead

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a backend lead located in Hyderabad. The backend lead will be responsible for leading and developing the project(s).

Expectations from the role

• System Architecture DesignArchitect scalable, secure, and modular backend systems capable of handling high volumes of data and traffic.
• Design an efficient database schema, optimizing for data proficiency.
• Build and maintain well-documented, secure, and performant APIs for seamless frontend and third-party integrations.
• Experience in analyzing system bottlenecks and implementing optimizations for latency, throughput, and overall backend performance.
• Hands-on coding experience in technologies like Node.js and Spring Boot.
• Ability to do Rapid Application Development/Prototyping.
• Should be a team player too along with contributing to the dev.
• The ability to storm and norm with a team of 4-5 is key.
• Understand Agile philosophy and work through it.
• The ability to use copilots effectively is a good addition.
• Most importantly, you should be able to handle ambiguity.

Preferred candidate profile

• BCA/MCA/BSc/MSc/Engineering2017 onwards pass-outs
• 5-8 years of total experience with at least 3-4 years of experience in leading a team. If you are an outlier, don’t hesitate to apply. But you will be tested.
• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of problem-solving skills.
• Be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity.
• Previous work experience in a start-up environment would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret Surechain products, various features, adaptability of change, finding new trends within technology, and effectively improving the features for platform development.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-term plans while being adaptable to changing market conditions.
