Job Description

Azure Administrator - I

This will be a member role to build cutting-edge technology products.

Job Location: Bangalore / Kolkata / Remote

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Fundamentals (Azure & AWS)

o Strong understanding of core cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and hands-on experience deploying/managing Azure resources (VMs, ADLS Gen2, ADF, Azure Databricks, Web Apps, Azure Functions).

o Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM) is a plus.

2. Azure Administration & Operations

o Manage Azure user/identity access (RBAC, Azure AD)

o Optimize cloud costs and performance through monitoring, scaling etc

o Troubleshooting issues on cloud resources.

3. DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

o Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps/GitLab (repos, branching, PR workflows).

o Develop and maintain YAML-based CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

o Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM, Terraform etc.

4. Containerization

o Ability to containerize applications (Docker) and deploy them in cloud environments.

5. Collaboration & Problem-Solving

o Work closely with developers to debug and optimize cloud deployments.

o Good incident resolution skills and proactive troubleshooting.

o Excellent communication and an ability for learning new technologies/ skills.

The Right Candidate Will

1-2 years of experience in DevOps.

Expertise with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Knowledge of network security, IAM, and best practices in cloud security.

Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Possess excellent communication skills and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Be detail-oriented with a focus on security, reliability, and continuous improvement.
