Automation Engineering Intern

As an Automation Engineering Intern at Bynry Inc., you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of automated test suites for enterprise-grade SaaS products across web, mobile, and APIs. Your role will involve working on critical quality assurance processes to ensure that our platforms are fast, reliable, and bug-free, ultimately impacting thousands of business users globally. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust automation using Playwright for web applications, creating test cases and frameworks for REST APIs and microservices with pytest, and automating mobile app testing for iOS and Android using BrowserStack. Additionally, you will validate multi-tenant SaaS apps, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, monitor application performance under various load conditions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous test improvement. Throughout your internship, you will gain hands-on experience with Playwright, pytest, Postman, and BrowserStack, learn about multi-platform testing strategies, CI/CD pipeline integration, and test reporting, and enhance your skills in real-world debugging, issue replication, and performance monitoring. You will have the opportunity to contribute to framework design, version control, and test documentation, while working in an agile environment with product and engineering teams. To qualify for this internship, you should be pursuing or have completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field, possess basic experience with Python programming, and be familiar with testing tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Postman. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good written and verbal communication are essential for this role. Exposure to Git/version control is a plus. In addition to technical skills such as Python, web automation, API testing, mobile test automation, Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms, you will also develop soft skills including QA thinking, cross-functional communication, debugging, documentation, collaboration, and ownership.
