Job Description

We are seeking a professional interested in furthering their career in Consulting to join our niche Banking Domain and Practice. The position will support Senior Consultants Project Managers and teams of talented, professional business and technology in the delivery of business focused solutions for our clients using Oracle applications, tools and technology. Utilizing sound product skills and experience, the successful applicant will initially work on specific project tasks to achieve successful project outcomes and client confidence and abilities. Longer term you will grow, with the help of extensive training and experience of the team around you, into a team lead and eventually project manager or Subject Matter expert in Business domain or Solution Architecture with full accountability and responsibility of the delivered solution for your own projects.

The applicant should have the following skills:

Good Knowledge in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, SOAP and REST based Webservices.
Exposure to Containerization, Microservices and Cloud native technologies
Knowledge of Java Script, HTML, Angular, React, Knockout
Knowledge of Junit, JMeter, Eclipse, GIT, Jira, Ant, Maven, Gradle, Unix Shell scripting
Exposure to Application servers WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss
Exposure to middleware concepts JMS, MQ, OSB
Experience in Product Implementation and Support

The following skills would also be a plus:

Experience in FLEXCUBE or other core-banking systems from providers like TEMENOS, FINASTRA, TCS Bancs, FIS,

Career Level - IC1

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications. Your responsibilities include:

Participate as Technical team member in Development or Implementation or Managed Service activity streams such as Migration, Integration, Testing support and coordination with other Oracle teams at client locations or offshore teams for various activities.
Assist with analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for various business requirements.
Develop programs as per specifications/requirements given by Oracle / Client within planned schedule.
Use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverables that meet quality expectations of Oracle / Client.
Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for Oracle / Client.
Adhere to defined Change Control Process of Oracle / Client. Comply with Oracle / Client audit / Compliance requirements.
Ensure quality code delivery.
Perform proper handover / knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.
Timely status reporting to supervisor.
Timely submission of timesheets and expenses for Oracle / Clients.
