Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Compliance

  • Timely processing of

    monthly payroll

    full & final settlements

  • Manage records of

    throughout the lifecycle.
  • Handle

    OT (overtime) calculations

    and ensure timely

    ESIC registration

  • Resolve

    UAN

    and

    PF

    issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable

    labour laws

    , including:
    • Maintaining registers, notices, and statutory returns.
    • Contractor compliance and documentation.
  • Conduct

    labour law sensitization

    for stakeholders (internal/external).

Employee Relations & Grievance Handling

  • Manage:
    • Disciplinary actions

    • Grievances

    • Redundancies

  • Conduct

    exit interviews

    , coordinate exits, and track

    F&F settlements

    .
  • Provide

    counselling

    and

    grievance resolution

    to maintain harmonious IR.
  • Respond to issues raised via

    helpdesk

    or

    employee connect

    .
  • Work with the senior HR team to handle incidents or security matters.
  • Maintain a healthy

    employer-employee relationship

    , including environmental scanning at the shop floor level.

Training & Onboarding

  • Conduct

    orientation & induction

    sessions for new hires.
  • Coordinate with

    industry experts

    for technical or behavioral training.
  • Plan and organize

    classroom/workshop-based upskilling sessions

    .

Performance Management

  • Support

    PMS execution

    and

    salary revision cycles

    .
  • Ensure accurate

    data entry of salary components

    .
  • Share

    compensation benchmarking data

    .
  • Communicate HR policies, compensation, and benefit programs.

Other Responsibilities

  • Ensure

    police verification

    of employees and workmen.
  • Assist other departments in maintaining

    smooth operations

  • Promote a

    cordial IR environment

    internally and externally.
  • Support

    system & process improvements

    in HR operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Payroll & statutory compliance (PF, ESI, UAN, etc.)
  • Labour law knowledge and IR practices
  • HRMS / Payroll software proficiency (e.g., SAP, ADP)
  • Attendance & leave management
  • Contractor compliance handling
  • Experience in grievance handling & employee counselling
  • Performance management system (PMS) understanding
  • Strong documentation & HR record management
