Job Description

Role summary

Responsible for leading the planning, execution and supervision of prototype testing, product evaluation and type testing qualifications to support design validation and innovation.

Technical skills

Knowledge of testing standards, Report documentation, Product validation and testing, Safety, Capacity planning, Manufacturing processes

Requirements

Good knowledge of design fundamentals
Exposure to and knowledge of pressure testing and elevated / low temperature testing
Knowledge of prototype testing and evaluation methods
Ability to create test set-ups to handle valve testing
Safety in material handling and testing
Knowledge of valve basics is preferred
Ability to interact with other functions like Purchase, Production, Quality Control
Ability to liaise with external inspectors for offering of valve testing and external labs
Handling trouble shooting and root cause analysis
Ability to handle testing instruments and gauges for testing
Plan for maintaining and upgrading lab infrastructure, instruments and testing tools
Ability to create reports and presentations and be able to interact with Sales and service teams
Should be a good team player, able to guide and train his team members
Should have good oral and written communication skills
Exposure to software MS Office, AutoCAD, Creo software
