Assistant Manager- In process Quality

As a Quality Control professional in the Electrical Equipment Manufacturing industry with 7-10 years of experience, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring in-process quality during manufacturing operations. Your role will involve conducting regular in-process audits, identifying non-conformities, and ensuring compliance with quality management systems and international standards. You will lead root cause analysis using tools like 8D and 5-Why, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to address customer complaints by initiating internal investigations and improving quality systems. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining quality records, inspection reports, and control plans, generating quality dashboards for management, and supporting New Product Development (NPD) and pilot trials from a quality standpoint. You will also be responsible for training shop floor personnel on work instructions, visual standards, and quality tools, as well as leading or supporting continual improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering, along with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical component manufacturing. Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, MSA, SPC, and experience with ERP/SAP systems and quality modules is required.
