Assistant Manager - Graphic Designer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities - 1. Visual Storytelling: Create custom illustrations, icons, and graphics to simplify insurance narratives for both consumers and agents. 2. Brand-led Creativity: Ensure all illustrations align with the brands visual language, tone, and identity maintaining consistency while evolving the system. 3. Campaign Collaterals: Support digital and offline campaigns with unique visual assets for social media, product explainers, educational content, and print materials. 4. Regional Adaptation: Design with cultural nuance and inclusivity, ensuring illustrations resonate across urban and Bharat audiences (Tier 2–4). 5. Motion & Interaction Support: Collaborate with motion designers and UI/UX teams to develop illustrations for animations, onboarding flows, and in-app graphics. 6. Asset Libraries: Build and manage an internal library of reusable illustration assets that scale across various communication needs. 7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, marketing, and design teams to brainstorm and execute creative ideas for product storytelling. 8. Exploration & Innovation: Push creative boundaries by exploring new styles, visual metaphors, and formats that make insurance more human and approachable. Preferred candidate profile - 1. 4–10 years of experience in illustration or visual design, preferably in consumer tech, fintech, or editorial environments. 2. Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Procreate (or equivalent). 3. A strong, versatile portfolio showcasing storytelling through digital illustrations. 4. Understanding of Indian cultural diversity, symbolism, and human-centric design. 5. Bonus: Experience with animation tools (After Effects, Lottie) or UI/UX collaboration.
