Job Description

Role & responsibilities

End-to-end GST compliance
Monthly GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation and filing.
Annual GST returns and GST audits.
Handling GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
TDS compliance including:
Timely deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
Preparation and issuance of Form 16/16A.
Support in Income Tax filings, advance tax workings, and 26AS reconciliation.
Keep updated with latest changes in taxation laws and implement accordingly.
Accounting & Financial Control
Finalization of accounts up to trial balance and support in year-end closing activities.
Ledger scrutiny, journal entries, and GL reconciliations.
Vendor payment processing and reconciliation.
Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting.
Audit Support
Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documents to statutory and internal auditors.
Ensure compliance with Companies Act and accounting standards (IND AS).
Address audit queries related to taxation and financial records.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare and review monthly MIS related to tax liabilities, payments, and provisions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect data for reporting and reconciliations .
