Assembly Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician / Fitter for our motor manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have an ITI qualification in Mechanical or Electrical stream, with a strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. The role involves assembling motor components, ensuring quality, and collaborating effectively with team members on the production floor. Key Responsibilities Assemble motors and related components according to mechanical drawings and standard operating procedures. Interpret engineering drawings, assembly layouts, and specifications accurately. Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to carry out precise assembly tasks. Follow safety and quality standards strictly throughout the assembly process. Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality teams to ensure timely production. Identify and report defects or discrepancies in components or drawings. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the workstation. Qualifications & Skills Minimum Qualification: ITI in Mechanical or Electrical (Fitter, Electrician, Motor Mechanic, etc.) Experience: 1–3 years in a similar assembly role preferred (freshers with good technical knowledge may also apply) Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and symbols. Familiarity with hand tools, torque tools, and measurement instruments. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing setup. Work Environment Factory-floor based role with standing and manual handling involved. Shift-based work may be applicable as per production schedules.
