JD for AS400 Developer. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG IV (ILE / Free format) , CL , and DB2/400 . Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and coding. Perform code reviews , debugging, and testing to ensure application reliability and performance. Work on program modifications , enhancements, and incident resolutions in legacy systems. Develop and maintain batch jobs , scripts, and job schedules . Create and maintain technical documentation for existing and new applications. Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business needs. Participate in data migration , integration , and modernization initiatives when required.
