Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals in the Horeca sector.

  • Manage and grow relationships with key clients in the Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafes industry.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed targets.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and support.

  • Developing plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the companys sales goals.

  • Managing the sales teams, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth.

  • Defining optimal sales force structure and managing hiring to scale the team appropriate to market conditions and opportunities.

  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team, and tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed.

  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of sales personnel.

  • Driving the sales team towards high performance by conducting reviews, appraisals, and offering constructive feedback.

  • Working closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent lead generation.

  • Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region.

  • Managing detailed reporting of sales metrics and KPIs, adjusting sales techniques and strategies based on data analysis.

Tasks and Duties

Day-to-day tasks of a Sales Manager may include:

  • Compiling and analyzing sales figures, reporting back to senior management teams.

  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors in the industry.

  • Attending network and promotional events to develop and maintain contacts.

  • Understanding customer needs and effectively communicating how products or services can satisfy these needs.

  • Devising new and original strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets.

  • Planning and coordinating the penetration of new markets.
