Job Description

The Analyst - Procurement Operations Support AMEA Vendor Master Data role at Syngenta involves reporting to the Procurement operations lead and handling various tasks related to vendor master data on the SAP Procurement platform. The position is based in the Syngenta office in Pune and does not require any travel. Responsibilities include providing support to global requesters in utilizing SAP MDG-S and SAP Vendor master data, ensuring the accuracy of information entered by validator team members, verifying supporting documents for vendor creation, and aligning details with country-specific requirements. The role also involves performing internal controls in collaboration with the Syngenta Compliance team, supporting internal audit requirements, and collaborating with other functions such as the ARIBA team, Regional Procurement Operations team, Business Partnering teams, and Compliance team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in SAP MM and verification of vendor documents. Additional experience working with MDG S is considered a plus. Qualifications for the role include 1-3 years of experience in SAP or equivalent Vendor Master data, familiarity with business process support in a captive shared services center for an MNC, understanding of transactional procurement and accounting processes, and the ability to work closely with IT teams and business support teams. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, intellectual curiosity, commitment to excellence, effective communication skills in English (both written and spoken), and collaborative abilities are also essential for this role.,
