Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain IBM AIX infrastructure including servers, storage, and networking. Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot IBM AIX operating systems . Manage system security configurations , access control, and auditing. Perform system upgrades , patching, and migrations. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business requirements . Develop and maintain operational documentation and SOPs. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for production support. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python). Ensure high availability, system performance, and disaster recovery readiness. Required Technical and Professional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of system administration experience, with a focus on IBM AIX . Proficiency in IBM AIX tools such as SMIT and DSM .
