As an AgriBusiness Domain Expert, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized knowledge in agricultural marketing, post-harvest management, and value-chain development. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders, conducting field visits, and delivering training and workshops to Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to enhance awareness and motivation towards agriculture value-chain. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in agribusiness management, post-harvest practices, and value-chain development. Strong analytical skills, along with the ability to interpret data effectively, are essential. Experience in strategy development and implementation, as well as proficiency in Business Plan and Detailed Project Report (DPR) formulation, will be valuable assets. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary for effective engagement with stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires the capability to conduct field visits and deliver training and workshops. The ideal candidate should hold an MBA in Agribusiness or an equivalent qualification. Knowledge of local agricultural practices and challenges in West Bengal would be considered a plus.
