Accountant

Job Title: Accountant Location: Shillong, Meghalaya Experience Required: 1–2 years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Tally ERP . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime . Manage accounts payable and receivable. Perform bank reconciliations and vendor account reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports . Maintain ledgers and general accounting files. Support with internal and external audits. Handle petty cash and day-to-day expenses. Monitor and ensure timely invoicing and payment follow-ups. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficient in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime . Strong understanding of basic accounting principles . Working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools. Good communication and organizational skills.
