About The Role The CrowdStrike Information Technology team is looking for a skilled Sr. IT Monitoring Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our IT Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring solutions that ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our critical IT infrastructure and applications. You will work at the intersection of operations and development, applying software engineering principles to operations tasks while focusing on system reliability and automation. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact business operations, as well as participating in on-call rotations to address incidents when they occur. Role Description Daily Monitoring and Investigation: Monitor DLP alerts across email, endpoint, web, and cloud. Perform triage to determine false positives, true positives, and actual incidents. Document findings and escalate critical violations per SOPs. Incident Response Support: Support incident response by providing evidence, logs, and context around DLP policy violations. Coordinate with IT, HR, and Legal teams for user engagement, awareness, and disciplinary action if necessary. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring or high-severity incidents. Policy Tuning and Optimization: Analyse alert trends and false positive patterns to suggest and implement policy refinements. Work with business and security teams to validate policy changes and test updated rulesets before production deployment. Maintain documentation of policy changes, rationales, and approvals. Lifecycle Management: Support onboarding business units, or geographies into DLP coverage. Maintain and update DLP dashboards and reporting structures. Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular reports to CISO on DLP violations Interface with Data Owners, Business Units, and Compliance teams for policy alignment and exception management. if interested, share your profile

Professional & Technical Skills: - Strong working knowledge of Zscaler ZIA / ZPA, including policy creation, traffic forwarding, and troubleshooting - Expertise in email security technologies (O365 ATP, DMARC, SPF, DKIM, etc.) - Good understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and associated security models - Familiarity with SIEM, DLP, CASB, and Secure Web Gateway (SWG) - Ability to interpret logs and perform packet capture analysis (e.g., Wireshark) - Knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks - Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python) is a plus Additional Information: - 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security, email security, and network security - Preferred certifications:-Zscaler Certified Professional (ZCP/ZIA/ZPA) and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required., 15 years full time education
