As an Assistant Manager - Communications at WWF-India, you will be an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team, responsible for creating engaging content that resonates with our audience. Your role will involve writing and editing stories for print collaterals such as newsletters and annual reports, as well as developing content for digital communication channels including websites, social media, emailers, and fundraising campaigns. You will be expected to conduct thorough scientific research on conservation topics, interpret internal field reports, and transform complex information into easily understandable content for external stakeholders. Additionally, you will travel to WWF-India's field offices across the country, conducting on-field interviews and creating audio and visual content to enhance storytelling. Your creativity and storytelling skills will be put to the test as you collaborate with various teams to produce strategic and compelling narratives that align with the organization's objectives. Crafting editorial calendars, repurposing stories across platforms, and inviting guest contributors to the website will be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Creative Writing, Journalism, or Communications, and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in writing and content creation across print and digital mediums. Proficiency in content marketing, SEO, and social media is essential, along with working knowledge of AV equipment and design tools like Canva and Adobe Suite. Your ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams will be crucial in delivering impactful content that engages and informs our audience.
