We are looking for an experienced application packager to re-package, test, and certify our current desktop application suite The candidate will work with subject matter experts to ensure the functionality of in-house or third party software is fully tested for the Windows 11 migration project The candidate should have strong knowledge of Office plug-ins, application compatibility, and operating system user access control (UAC) as it relates to software functionality on Windows 10 The individual will help us shape the process around our application lifecycle and assist in the compilation of user profile components that will follow the end user client, The candidate should have extensive experience packaging applications in support of migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11, Requirements Application packaging experience in similar environment Experience working on Windows Operating System migrations, Work with developers, application owners and subject matter experts to ensure successful automated installation of software, Ability to work with subject matter experts and end user clients to coordinate UAT, Experience in peer review of a packagers work and quality assurance of packaged applications to ensure they conform to existing corporate standards, Creation of technical documentation of the packaging work, In depth knowledge and experience using software packaging tools, (e-g InstallShield, Orca, App-V sequencer, Wise, Vbscript), Automation and scripting using Powershell Strong knowledge of the Windows Registry, An understanding of Windows User Access Control (UAC) and process elevation, Full understanding of file system and registry security in locked down environments, Configuring PowerBroker policies to support application elevation in a locked down environment Knowledge in application discovery of installed applications and integration into CMDB a plus, Strong troubleshooting mind-set (e-g parsing event log, Sysinternals, analyzing memory dumps) General knowledge of user profile management (Citrix UPM, WEM, Flex, Appsense, UE-V), Coding in SQL is a plus, Knowledge of GPO, Knowledge and experience deploying applications through Altiris ITMS (preferred) or SCCM, Experience building and using application testing tools and frameworks in support of Windows As A Service and automated application lifecycle management

Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot software problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring that applications run smoothly to support business operations effectively. You will engage with users to understand their challenges and work towards delivering timely solutions, all while maintaining a focus on enhancing system reliability and user satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:- Create, customize, and repackage software applications line MSI, EXE, APPX, PSADT, etc for silent/unattended installation.- Develop and maintain Windows Installer (MSI) packages using tools like InstallShield, WiX, Advanced Installer, or ORCA.- Convert legacy installers (EXE, scripts) to modern deployment formats (MSIX, IntuneWin).- Troubleshoot deployment failures and compatibility issues (Application failures, dependencies).- Write PowerShell, VBScript, or Batch scripts for pre/post-installation tasks.- Implement App-V sequencing (if applicable) and MSIX packaging/modernization.- Optimize packages for Windows 10/11, Cloud (Azure/AWS) environments.- Validate packages in MECM , Intune , virtualized (VMware, Hyper-V) and physical environments.- Document packaging processes, version control, and release notes.- Mentor junior engineers and define packaging standards.Professional Technical Skills :- Expert in MSI/MSIX/APPX packaging tools in InstallShield, WiX, Advanced Installer.- Proficient in PowerShell, VB Script, and Windows Registry and File System.- Need to have strong knowledge of SCCM and Intune.- Familiarity with Windows OS internals, Group Policy, and security baselines.Addtional Information- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.- Excellent documentation and communication skills.Education Details-15 years full time education Qualification 15 years full time education

The individual maintains and monitors how the Citrix settings and dependencies perform. Also, he/ she offers Citrix support and perform administrative duties relating to the final consumer's environment. Finally, the professional ensures that the Citrix server's off-hour upgrades and upkeep, get applied and coordinated. The engineer is responsible for any issues related to applications, network, and storage. The users usually look for a Citrix Engineer when they encounter any problems. It has become mandatory for the engineers to keep themselves updated with the changing technologies.Must Have Skills: Citrix XenApp and Xen-Desktop, PVS and MCS, UPMGood to Have Skills: Azure AVD basic knowledgeJob RequirementsKey Responsibilities Managing the published applications on Citrix Xen-app Managing VDI workloads through Xen-desktop. Publishing application as per the requirement. Deploying Virtual desktops, capacity management for the VDI Platform. Deep technical skills in Machine creation services, Machine catalogs and delivery groups. Patching and vulnerability Management on Citrix servers. Managing the Hypervisor, where VDI's are hosted, VDI patch management, application deployment strategies. In-depth understanding of pooled and streamed Machines. Managing the DB where all Citrix site configurations are stored. Managing Provisioning services. (V-disk configuration, target device MGMT) Experience in doing in place and parallel Citrix infra upgrades. Experience in VDA upgrade via MECM packaging and automation. Experience in upgrading Windows 10 OS and working with application team for compatibility issues and doing end to end troubleshooting. Responsible for incident, change, service request and Problem management. Need to have scripting skills in PowerShell. Technical Experience: Citrix XenApp / Xen-Desktop 1912 CU6 , CVAD 2203 Administration of Citrix XenApp Sites Storefront configuration and administration PVS administration (Creation of golden image, target device management, Troubleshooting) Configuration of Citrix server policies, Load Management and Printers in the sites. Expertise in creating Citrix Streaming Profiles and Publishing Applications to users in Citrix XenApp 1912 Experience in administering Windows Terminal Server, Group Policy management and Active Directory environment. In-depth knowledge in dealing with Windows Registry and File Systems. Green field deployment of Citrix and Upgradation Minimum 18 months of experience in managing Citrix Xen-app, Xen-Desktop and PVS administration. Need to have good understanding of ITIL process. Architecting and planning for a Citrix Infra on Azure Platform. Professional Attributes: Take part in 24x7 Shift rotations including Morning, Evening and Night Shifts. Work out of hours, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays at reasonable request to perform production changes. Travel to other locations when required. Able to work from home occasionally.
