They collaborate closely with development teams, network engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to provide solutions that optimize content delivery, security, and network performance. This role typically requires deep expertise in CDN technologies, web performance, application security, and cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities & Activities:1.Solution Design & Architecture- Develop tailored architecture designs that leverage Akamai's CDN, security, and performance optimization tools. -Analyze customer requirements and design robust, scalable, and cost-efficient content delivery and security solutions. -Architect solutions for reducing latency, improving content caching, and delivering secure, high-performance applications. -Collaborate with product managers and technical teams to integrate Akamai solutions with existing infrastructure.2.Performance Optimization:- Implement Akamais performance optimization features such as content caching, front-end optimizations (FEO), and image or media optimization.- Design strategies to reduce load times, handle traffic spikes, and improve site responsiveness.- Monitor and tune configurations to maintain peak web application performance.3. Security Architecture:- Design and configure Akamai Web Application Firewalls (WAF), DDoS protection, bot management, and other security solutions.- Ensure robust security policies to protect applications from vulnerabilities and attacks.- Regularly review security metrics and recommend adjustments to mitigate emerging threats.4.Content Delivery & Network Management:- Develop strategies to optimize the delivery of static and dynamic content to users across different geographies.- Implement and manage routing, failover, and load-balancing configurations.- Optimize and troubleshoot routing and delivery through Akamais edge servers for efficient network management.5.Technical Leadership & Support:- Lead and mentor teams through the deployment and configuration of Akamai solutions. Provide technical support and guidance during pre-sales activities, proof-of-concept (PoC) phases, and production deployments. Develop and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and standards for Akamai implementations.6.Monitoring & Analytics:- Set up monitoring tools to track performance, availability, and security metrics of web applications delivered via Akamai. Analyze logs, usage patterns, and analytics data to provide insights on optimization opportunities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to content delivery, application performance, and security.7.Stakeholder Collaboration-Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions. Collaborate with Akamai's technical account managers and product teams for updates on the latest features and technologies.8 Technical Skills Required:- Expertise in Akamai products like Akamai CDN, Web Performance Solutions, Kona Site Defender (WAF), Ion, Adaptive Media Delivery, Image Manager, etc. Strong understanding of web performance tuning (caching strategies, load balancing, etc.). Experience with DNS management, SSL/TLS, and network protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP). Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automation (CI/CD, Terraform, Jenkins). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Programming or scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) for custom configurations. Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Akamai.- This position is based at our Hyderabad office and other locations also fine.- A 15 years full-time education is required. Qualification 15 years full time education

Use tools like Google Lighthouse, GTmetrix, WebPageTest, and New Relic to measure site performance. Monitor real-time performance metrics using solutions like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or other APM tools. Conduct regular audits of websites to identify opportunities for speed improvements. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Strong understanding of web performance concepts like TTFB, FCP, LCP, CLS, and TBT. Hands-on experience with performance tools (e.g., Lighthouse, GTmetrix, Pingdom,or Dynatrace). Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g.,React, Angular, or Vue.js). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Analytical Skills Proficiency in Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Semrush. Technical SEO Knowledge Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. SEO Expertise Experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and content strategy. Problem-Solving & Communication – Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Search Engine Knowledge – Familiarity with SEO best practices and algorithm updates. CMS Experience – Familiarity with platforms like WordPress, AEM, or Drupal. Link-Building & Content Performance Analysis – Experience in link-building strategies and social media content analysis. Experience in process/rules of engagement and content types within Pharmaceutical medical communications is a plus Experience in automating SEO reports and alerts using APIs and scripts. Familiarity with heatmaps & session recording tools (Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Microsoft Clarity) for UX insights. Knowledge of international SEO, multi-language strategies, and hreflang best practices. Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations affecting SEO 4+ years of professional experience Experience working in an agency environment with proven experience navigating tight deadlines under pressure Ability to recognize best practices Proven self-starter that has managed projects in isolation
