Web Developer (WordPress)

As a Full-stack WordPress builder, you will be responsible for managing both the front end and back end of a website. While some developers specialize in either frontend or backend programming, it is crucial to thoroughly review each candidate's resume and portfolio to ensure you hire a dedicated WordPress developer who is the right fit for the role. Your primary responsibilities will include writing core code and troubleshooting WordPress core files to maintain the essential functionalities of websites without any downtime. You will also be tasked with designing and implementing the user interface (UI) or front end of websites, including page layouts, navigation menus, and buttons. Testing and debugging websites in a WordPress development environment will be part of your routine, requiring knowledge of creating a local server stack using tools like MAMP, XAMPP, Vagrant Vagrants (VVV), or Docker. Additionally, you will need to program and manage the backend of websites, including APIs and databases, as well as optimize pages for search engine optimization (SEO). To qualify for this position, you should have professional experience as a WordPress developer and a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JS), PHP, and MySQL.
