Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive
web pages, landing pages, and website elements
for the university.
Collaborate with the
marketing, content, and development teams
to enhance the universitys online presence.
Ensure
UI/UX best practices
are followed for seamless website navigation and a positive user experience.
Optimize website elements for
mobile and desktop responsiveness
.
Work with
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or other university CMS systems)
to create and maintain web pages.
Create
web graphics, banners, and other digital assets
for online promotions and campaigns.
Conduct
regular website audits
, testing functionality, speed, and performance, and troubleshooting issues.
Stay updated on
web design trends, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices
to improve the website s effectiveness.
Coordinate with developers to implement
design updates, plugins, and new website features
.
Ensure website content is
aligned with the university s brand identity
and marketing goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree
in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a
Web Designer
, preferably in an
educational or corporate environment
.
Proficiency in
design and prototyping tools
such as
Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch
.
Strong understanding of
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
(Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, etc.).
Experience working with
CMS platforms
(WordPress, Drupal, or custom CMS).
Knowledge of
UI/UX principles
and
responsive design
techniques.
Familiarity with
SEO best practices
and website performance optimization.
Strong
attention to detail
and ability to translate requirements into creative and functional web designs.
Ability to
work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
including developers, content writers, and marketers.
Strong
problem-solving skills
and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
