Warehouse Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of electrical items (e.g., conductors, insulators, cables).

• Oversee inventory management, including receiving, inspecting, and storing materials, and maintaining accurate stock levels.

• Coordinate with procurement and field teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials for erection at sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling procedures for electrical materials and equipment.

• Implement and enforce inventory control systems to track stock and prevent discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate records of materials received, stored, and dispatched, and prepare inventory reports for management.

• Develop and maintain an organized storage system to optimize space and facilitate easy access to materials.

• Ensure that warehouse facilities are clean, safe, and properly maintained.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience.

• Skills: Team Player and communication skills to handle store level personnel; experience with inventory control software and systems.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical equipment (conductors, insulators, etc.) and safe handling practices.

• Other Requirements: Ability to lead and manage a team, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
