As an intern at Studio1Emporio, you will be responsible for manipulating and editing video/film pieces with precision to meet client needs and specifications. Your tasks will include reviewing shooting scripts, raw material, and creating shot decision lists based on scene value and continuity. You will be involved in trimming footage segments, assembling film sequences, adding music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, as well as creating rough and final cuts. Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product will be crucial, along with consulting stakeholders throughout the production to post-production process. The role also involves staying updated on new editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and creativity. The ideal candidate should have proven work experience as a Video Editor, solid proficiency with digital technology, and editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut. Demonstrable video editing skills, including timing, motivation, continuity, special effects, 3D, and compositing, are essential. A creative mindset, storytelling abilities, and a strong portfolio are highly valued traits for this role. This is an internship position with a contract length of 6 months. The salary ranges from 4,000.00 to 7,000.00 per month, and benefits include paid sick time.
