Job Description

Role Summary:

The Vice Principal is the Chief Academic Officer of the school and is directly responsible for academic

strategy, curriculum execution, instructional quality, and student academic outcomes.

Direct Reports:

Section Coordinators (Primary, Middle, Senior)
Subject HODs
Teaching and Learning coaches
Exam Co-ordinators
All Teachers

Key Responsibilities:

Lead academic planning, aligned with NEP and CBSE board guidelines.
Monitor and improve teaching practice and student learning skills through regular

observations and feedback, through a standardisation process.

Design and oversee teacher professional development.
Conduct academic performance reviews and board exam analysis.
Ensure data-driven planning, using assessments and internal benchmarks/target-setting.
Chair academic meetings and present academic updates to stakeholders.
Lead school improvement plans for academic performance.

Authority:

Final decision-maker on instructional matters.
Approves lesson plans, assessments, and teacher resource.
Acts as the academic face of the school in all internal and external reviews/evaluations
