Ensure timeliness and Accuracy of all deliverables - Provide guidance to team for correct accounting treatment - will be working as escalation point if needed Responsibilities The person will be responsible for the following day to day activities: Business License: . Coordinate with Business License team and Sales Tax team to work on executing Business license including renewal of Business License . Coordination with Treasury team to pay for Licenses US Property Tax: . Tracking and adherence to US Property Tax Returns filing per due date . Track exemptions and exceptions for applicable state . Keeping a close track of new Stores build / Stores closed . Assessment notice reconciliation to PTMS Property Manager . Reconciling PPTX accrual account and booking the monthly accrual and adjustment entries US Sales Tax: . Understand of Sales Tax Return filing on schedule and ensure timely Payment . Review of Sales Tax Payable using Alteryx. Performing reconciliation and resolving variance is any . Manage vendor queries . Maintain all documents related to above . Investigate and research open items and follow up/escalate with different teams for resolution of open items . Adherence to the internal/external US GAAP/SOX audits Qualifications we seek in you Minimum qualifications . Accounting graduates with relevant experience, CA/CMA preferred. . Good written and verbal communication skills . Working experience with ERPs, specifically Oracle would be preferred . Experience in tool e.g. Alteryx, AS400 and PTMS. Vertex, PTMS, Sovos, Bloomberg sites, Middleware for tax rates would be added advantage . Prior experience with Retail Clients with same size would be preferred . Good Interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex task and communicate well Leadership Preferred qualifications Strong Accounting and Analytical skills . Good understanding of accounting GAAP (US GAAP preferred) principles and strong analytical skills . Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and drive things to closure . Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications Collaborate with System, Customers and Key Stakeholders . The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Vertex applications, ensuring seamless integration with AS400 and Oracle EBS systems. The candidate should have a strong understanding of tax compliance and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to deliver effective solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Vertex integrations with AS400 and Oracle EBS systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. Operational Activities: Preparing various operational reports and other project related activities like hiring, Auditing activities etc. Motivated and directing the team members to complete the cloud certifications and participating in client focused training activities. Ensuring that No escalations reported all critical incidents like BICC, Vertex, Module specific issues including report related and other maintenance related activities have been addressed without any escalations. Ensuring Smooth KT as well as on boarding new joiners in the project. Facilitating Weekly and bi-weekly connect with Team and onsite spocs and Business SME's to address the issues. Maintenance of Knowledge Transition recordings and documents in common drive for easy accessibility to the team members for future reference. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Lead planning and delivery of multiple client implementations simultaneously. Ensure that customer requirements are defined and met within the configuration and the final deliverable. Coordinate between internal implementation and technical resources and client teams to ensure smooth delivery. Assist clients with developing testing plans and procedures. Train clients on all Avalara products and services including the ERP and e-commerce integrations (called AvaTax connectors). Demo sales and use tax products, including pre-written and custom-built software applications. Support customers success by answering application questions, tracking issues, monitoring changes, and resolving or escalating problems according to company guidelines. Provide training and end-user support during customer onboarding. Given our clientele based in US are ready to work in. What Youll Need to be Successful 2-5 years of software implementation within the B2B sector. Bachelors degree (BCA, MCA, B.Tech ) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent career experience. Install and configure the following ERPs: WooCommerce, Sage 100, Sage Intacct, Dynamics GP, D365 Sales, D365 Business Central, Salesforce Sales Cloud, NetSuite, QuickBooks, along with the ability to explain the various configuration options and demonstrate sales order/invoicing processes. Experience with Tax Automation: lead the implementation of tax engines, returns and/or exemption certificate systems for Avalara, Tax Jar, Vertex, or similar software. Knowledgeable in APIs Experience in implementing ERP solutions.
