As an Electrical Design Engineering Professional, you will be responsible for various aspects of electrical design within the field. With 5 to 8 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in tasks such as load sizing, transformer sizing, cable sizing, generator sizing, battery charger & battery sizing, earthing calculation, and lightning protection calculation. Additionally, you will be involved in conductor sizing calculation for Plant & Switchyard projects. Your duties will also include the preparation of essential diagrams and layouts such as Single Line Diagram (SLD), lighting layout, lightning layout, earthing layout, cable routing layout for Plant & Switchyard, Switchyard layout, and Electrical Switchgear room layout. You will work on the protection system of electrical equipment like Transformers, Motors, Busbars, and DG sets. This will involve calculations for the earthing system, lightning protection system, and lighting system following IS/IEC/IEEE standards. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing Power cable, Control cable & Interconnection Schedules for Plant & Switchyard, as well as specifications and data sheets for various electrical equipment. Your role will involve reviewing and commenting on vendor drawings & documents, carrying out Technical Bid analysis, expediting with vendors for electrical equipment, and conducting inspections. Your expertise in Electrical Engineering Codes & standards (IS/IEC/IEEE) will be essential for this role. You should also have experience in power system studies including Short Circuit Study, Load Flow Study, and Motor Starting Study using tools like ETAP. Flexibility is key for this role, as you may be required to travel long term or short term to various project sites, client offices, or consultant offices based on project requirements. Your presence will be crucial for document approval and resolution of site technical issues during project execution.,

Role & responsibilities FEED and detail electrical engineering for different types of oil & gas infrastructures. Preparation of basic, FEED and detail engineering drawings for Onshore (Refineries, Chemical, Fertilizer etc.) & Offshore applications. Preparation of MTO for electrical and instrumentation system Preparation of electrical and instrument layout drawings 3D Model review for electrical System Perspective. Review of P & ID for Electrical & Instrumentation Part. Understanding of Existing system & recommending System Upgradation with detailed documents/drawings. Onsite inspection for Projects in Marine/ Onshore/ Offshore industry. Power System study e.g. Loads Flow, short Circuit, Motor Starting, Relay coordination etc. Study of Short Circuit Calculation & Updating the calculation for retrofit. Liaising with Clients/ Class / Internal multi discipline teams for Design & Engineering execution. Review of Vendor Documents/Drawings Project Communication internal & external. Preferred candidate profile Specialization- Oil and Gas industry (preferred) Preferred Experiences Design of All Ship System Basic & Detail Engineering Experience in Short Circuit Calculation & Coordination study for Ship Power System. Roles and Responsibilities: Ensures application of customer specifications, industry, national, and international standards. Study project specifications, project scope of supply and technical compliance along with project offer. Understand the specifications developed by Design engineer for respective components / equipment. Review quotes & drawings received from Outsource vendors/suppliers. Preparation of Project Drawings as per list generated by design/project team in line with agreed VDRL (vendor document register list) with customer such as Enclosure GA, Plot layout, Piping and Instrumentation drawings, Fuel tank and other equipment GA. All these drawings shall be prepared in alignment with Project Specification & also technical specifications & design calculations prepared for respective equipment/component by design engineer. Prepare checklist for respective drawings and Checks drawings and technical specifications prior to release. Engages with required functional areas, external vendors and customer engineering teams as needed. Coordinate with Project Engineers & outsource vendor drawings for any applicable changes as per customer comments Review and update the respective drawings & prepare CRS (Customer Resolution sheet) for respective commented document. Participates in and/or leads Drawing Quality Reviews. Requirements Skills and Experience Required: Requires significant relevant 46 years work experience on AutoCAD Oil & Gas industry on mechanical systems and projects engineering experience will be preferred. Experience in genset installation. College, university, or equivalent diploma or bachelors degree in engineering or appropriate STEM field is required Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles. Should be able to draft system, subsystem and component of engine/genset models Balance of plants. Able to work on concept layout along with preliminary design feasibility. Should be able to understand GD&T, tolerance for assemblies. Should be able to understand PLM (Windchill) and data management systems. Creating manufacturing level fabrication drawings for genset enclosures, skids and accessories would be added advantage. Should be proficient in AutoCAD. Should be proficient in handling different file types within above mentioned softwares. Lifecycle stages by considering the customer requirements in different operating environments to ensure a robust system.
