Evaluate supplier capabilities, including manufacturing processes, quality systems, and financial stability. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Supplier Development and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Provide technical assistance and guidance to suppliers to improve their performance. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns. Quality Assurance: Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and specifications. Implement quality control procedures and processes. Conduct supplier quality audits and assessments. Investigate and resolve quality issues and non-conformances. Cost Reduction and Improvement: Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives with suppliers. Analyze supplier costs and identify areas for improvement. Implement continuous improvement programs to enhance supplier performance.
