Key Responsibilities Support the Vehicle Systems and Controls team in the end to end design and development of control systems and algorithm frameworks Conduct Model-in-Loop tests to ensure compliance of control systems to design targets Analyze the interaction of control systems and support in the development of vehicle level testing requirements Carry out system level validation and testing of mechanical and electrical systems (e.g. Motors, Battery Pack, Sensors etc.) Conduct analysis of testing data to study system performance, capture dynamics and catch faults in systems Assist in the development and maintenance of control system documentation such as DFMEAs and DVPs Ideal Candidate Bachelors degree in Mechanical / / Electrical / Electronics / Automotive Engineering or Physics majors Basic understanding of dynamics of mechanical and electrical systems and control systems Adept at using MATLAB and Simulink Knowledge of embedded coding is a plus Ability to conduct data analysis and pattern recognition using statistical tools Formula Student/SAE Baja or similar collegiate automotive engineering design competition experience is a plus A passion for all things automotive
