Job Description

The role of VDI SME (Subject Matter Expert) involves maintaining and updating security agents on VDI infrastructure and software on VDI images (VDAs). You will be responsible for managing and supporting VDI environments, which includes tasks such as sizing, image maintenance (merging, consolidation, deletion), and delivery group configuration. Additionally, you will implement and update VDI security policies using tools like AppSense. As a VDI SME, you will troubleshoot issues related to Citrix, Windows/Linux OS, security tools, VMs, and hardware, and escalate them when necessary. It will be part of your responsibilities to perform OS (Windows/Linux), firmware, and security patching and updates. You will also work with Nutanix and NetScaler platforms, and be required to join incident calls, update support tickets promptly, and escalate issues as needed. The ideal candidate should have at least 6-8 years of experience as a VDI SME. Hands-on experience with Nutanix, NetScaler, and Citrix is essential. A strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments is required, along with experience in using VDI security tools like AppSense.
