Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy, in line with the overall business objectives. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial projections. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish budgetary guidelines. Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis. Develop and maintain financial forecasting models. Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure compliance with regulations. Funding and Capital Management: Manage the organization's capital structure and liquidity. Explore funding opportunities and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions. Oversee cash flow management and optimize working capital. Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax compliance. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and financial regulations. Collaborate with auditors and oversee the audit process. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team. Foster a high-performance culture and promote professional development. Collaborate with other departments and executives to achieve organizational goals. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field and MBA/CA or advanced degree in finance. Overall 5+ years proven experience as a Manager-Finance & Accounting or in a similar or senior financial management role (Candidate from ITES is preferred). Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations. Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing a team. Effective communication and presentation skills.
